Day 1. February 12, Ulaanbaatar
Upon arrival in Mongolia’s capital city, you will be transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy a leisure program of sightseeing around the city including Sukhbaatar square and Zaisan Hill. Optional visit to Natural History Museum of Mongolia. Dinner at restaurant. Overnight in hotel. (L, D)

Day 2. February 13, Lunar New Year Festival
After breakfast, we will visit to Gandan Monastery, take part in morning chants and watch Religious tradition of holiday. Then drive to the countryside and visit a nomadic family and take part in their Lunar Year celebration. Drive back to UB and Overnight in hotel. (B, L, D)

Day 3. February 14, Terelj National Park
Approximate distance covered and estimated travel time: 70 km, 1-2 hours.
After breakfast at the tourist camp, we drive to Terelj National Park, one of the most visited sites near Ulaanbaatar. Terelj is set in the picturesque valley of the granite mountains and the beautiful Terelj river. Transfer to tourist ger camp. We will then visit the Turtle Rock and the Temple of Meditation. Hiking around. Overnight in ger camp. (B, L, D)

Day 4. February 15, Eagle Festival & Ulaanbaatar
Today we participate in the Golden Eagle Festival. Eagle trainers will gather to show their skills and their eagle’s abilities. The festival begins as the participants parade on horses with their eagles displaying their traditional Kazakh dress and their hunting outfit and accessories. Eagle trainers show their skills and their eagle’s hunting abilities. Overnight in ger camp. (B, L, D)

Day 5. February 16, Khustain Nuruu National Park
Approximate distance covered and estimated travel time: 170 km, 3-4 hours.
Drive to Khustain Nuruu National Park to see the Przewalski wild horses, recently re-introduced back to Mongolia. Visit the local information center for learn about the history of the last pure wild horses and the history of the area. Overnight in ger camp. (B, L, D)

Day 6. February 17, Ulaanbaatar
Approximate distance covered and estimated travel time: 100 km, 2-3 hours.
Drive to Ulaanbaatar. After lunch at the restaurant in UB visit the Bogd Khan Palace Museum and the National history museum. In the evening enjoy a performance of Mongolian folk art. Stay overnight in hotel. (B, L, D)

Day 7. February 18, Departure
Transfer to airport for return flight. (B)
